Big Jubilee Sing

Welcome!

The Big Jubilee Sing is a coming together of choirs, churches, communities, individuals and schools to sing one of HM the Queen’s favourite hymns: ‘Praise, my soul, the King of Heaven’.

If you’re a group, simply scroll down the page for all the info you need – and follow the 3 simple steps: 1. Sign-up, 2. Downloads, 3. Rehearse & Record. At the bottom of the page you will also find an upload link, ready to receive your finished video. If your singers would like to access rehearsal recordings, they’ll find them on this page, too.

If you’re keen to get involved as an individual, that’s great! There is a unison version you can sing towards the bottom of the page, or if you’d like to sing the SATB setting, head on over to the members page, and try NMCGB for free.

3a. Run through & record – SATB Choirs

Here is the final video for choirs. Remember to film in landscape, and aim for your audio recording to feature the singers, not the backing track. Please upload at the bottom of the page by Monday 16th May. And have fun!

3b. Run through & record – SCHOOLS & INDIVIDUALS

Here is the final video for schools & individuals. Remember to film in landscape, and aim for your audio recording to feature the singers, not the backing track. Please upload at the bottom of the page by Monday 16th May.

How to record yourself.

Plug your headphones into a device to watch and  hear the run through video.

Record yourself on a separate device in landscape orientation. Try and ensure you’re well lit, and aim for a head and shoulders shot, with the camera at head height. Something like the photo on the left!

4. Send in your video
